Steerage Anyone?

Caught at the end of an email ... 

 "I am now somewhere over the Sahara 

heading back to Joburg for three days 

and doing my bit to add to global warming 

and hasten the demise of the planet. 

 But then as John likes to say: 

'If you are sailing on the Titanic 

there is no point in travelling steerage'".
